About I. Stuart Campbell

Stuart Campbell studied architecture and design at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, University of Glasgow, and Glasgow School of Art, and graduated in 1977.

He has special interests in urban design, conceptual planning, design communication and journalism, and is an enthusiastic architectural illustrator, who considers drawing, painting and photography to be essential tools for the design process.

He was founding Editor of 'RIAS Prospect', the professional Journal of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, and remained executive editor from 1978 to 1993.

He has been a contributor to many architectural design and technical publications including: 'RIAS Prospect'; 'Building'; 'Building Design'; and the 'RIBA Journal'.

Stuart is a member of the Society of Architectural Illustrators ( www.sai.org.uk ).
